The New York Yankees will co-host the third annual MLB Diversity Business Summit this month.  Anthony McCarron of the New York Daily News reports on the upcoming event.

“Diversity and inclusion throughout Major League Baseball are central priorities for our industry and are essential to future success,” baseball commissioner Bud Selig said in a statement. “Through the MLB Diversity Business Summit, we are taking innovative steps to provide unprecedented access for individuals who aspire to careers in our game or hope to find other valuable opportunities with our organizations.”

In addition to Selig’s keynote speech, the event will feature networking and workshops and an exhibit floor. The Yankees will hold a welcome reception at the Stadium for attendees on the first day and host them at the club’s Jackie Robinson Day game against the Chicago Cubs.
