This International Women’s Day, Celebrate LGBTQ Women in Sport
Since the early 1900’s, March 8th has been a global day to celebrate women’s achievements and call for gender equality. We see the fight for gender and LGBTQ equality as inextricably linked. Rigid definitions of what it means to be a man or woman cause those who don’t fit neatly into these boxes to be swept to the side. When we champion women athletes, we are championing a more inclusive sport community for all.
We’re incredibly proud to work with women Athlete Ally Ambassadors who aren’t afraid to honor what makes us different, stand up to the status quo, and push for the world we all deserve.
