Athlete Ally Reacts to Homophobic and Racist Tweets from Tennys Sandgren
We’re deeply troubled by the homophobic & racist tweets from Tennys Sandgren. Last night, when the television commentators decided to “put politics aside,” they chose to ignore the marginalization of the LGBTQ community & people of color. What could have been a moment of education was one of abdication. We hope Tennys’ decision to delete these tweets is his first step on a journey of continued education related to LGBTQ and racial equality.
