Athlete Ally announces new Director of Development

NEW YORK (September 2, 2016) – Today Athlete Ally announced the recent hiring of one key staff member, strengthening an already formidable team. Mitch Mathias joins as Director of Development.

Mitch Mathias previously worked in development for Lambda Legal, The Bonner Group and The Brookings Institution. As the former Senior Director of Major Gifts at Lambda Legal, Mathias oversaw both national and regional major gifts operations and multiple fundraising events and played a lead role in cultivating national corporate partnerships and Board management. With more than 10 years of development experience he has a proven record of strategic fundraising program building, cultivating and stewarding high-net worth individuals and institutional funders and managing a fundraising team.
