“Sport has the ability to bring people together from all walks of life. It is a great place to lead the narrative of inclusivity. As an athlete, I struggled with my identity, which is why I have grown passionate about turning my pain in to purpose, with the mission of helping others do the same, using sport as a vehicle. Playing sport and being your authentic self shouldn’t be mutually exclusive, which is why I’m delighted to join Athlete Ally to help echo their mission to create conducive environments, advocate, educate and protect.”
