That’s why I don’t want an environment where I have to give up my favorite sport because of gender or sexuality. I hope that there will be more places where LGBTQ + athletes can truly enjoy sports.”

違いを認め受け止め尊重する社会をつくっていくポテンシャルが、スポーツ界にはあると私は信じています。だからこそ、ジェンダーやセクシャリティを理由に大好きなスポーツを諦めなくてはならない環境は望んでいません。これから、LGBTQ+アスリートが心からスポーツを楽しめる場所がもっと増えていくことを願っています。
