Sacha Kljestan

Soccer has allowed me to travel the world and meet people from all walks of life. My time on the pitch has taught me the universal values of fair play, respect, hard work and perseverance. To think that there remains an entire population of people excluded from sport — simply because of their sexual orientation or gender identity — is shameful. Today, I join Athlete Ally as a Professional Ambassador to help make sport inclusive and equitable for all LGBTQ people.
