So many individuals seek refuge in sports as a safe haven. LGBTQ+ athletes are no different and instead of finding hostility and exclusion from their chosen sport, they should find an accepting community of peers. I’m beyond thrilled to join Athlete Ally as an Ambassador to help cultivate safe spaces for athletes of all orientations through advocacy and education in whatever arena they choose.
