“As an openly bisexual athlete, I think it’s really important that I speak out about the stigma and erasure still faced today by bisexual people in all walks of life and use my platform to affect positive change for us. Representation matters, and I want other LGBTQI+ people to know there are spaces in this world where you can be your authentic self and that there are people out here fighting in your corner to make those spaces more commonplace in everyday life.”
