Register now for the Student Athlete Activism Summit!

On May 31st, Athlete Ally will convene 150 student-athletes in New York City for a day-long summit to discuss LGBTQ respect and inclusion in sports, athlete activism, and how student-athletes can continue using their platform to stand up and speak out for social justice efforts on campus and in their communities. Registration is now open here.

This summit will provide student-athletes with the resources, tools and connections to be better activists and allies within their athletic environments and communities.

Thanks to the generous support of the Ford Foundation, round-trip bus transportation will be available for student athletes departing from and returning to Boston, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., and one night of accommodation will be provided for athletes outside of the NYC area.

What to expect

The full-day summit will include a series of panels, fireside chats and interactive breakout conversations designed to equip student-athletes with practical tools to continue fostering LGBTQ-incluisive spaces.

Athlete Ally staff, partners, and Professional Ambassadors will guide student-athletes through a series of conversations to help them better understand their role as Allies in the fight for equality.
